I got hooked on doner in Germany. This stuff is as good as the European version. And don't you dare pass up the sweet potato fries. Awesome.

Great spot for lunch. Amazing chicken doner. Love the sweet potato fries and fried chickpeas.

Another great find in Eagle Rock. Every so often I need the good "greek" sandwhich. The kind where they slice the meat off the spit righ in front of you. Spitz is my favorite. Not the most authentic, but more than compansate with quality. Variety of great sides, like sweet potatoe fries, olives, etc. all for about a buck. Great Gelato bar if you have room....

I read the recommendations on LA Weekly and decide to stop by with whole family. Big mistake! Because I'm from real doner kebap motherland Turkey. Such a terrible spicy test. My kids even couldn't bite. You couldn't even taste meat. Not worth to even try. Never ever go again.
